Koinos AI
What this website collects, why, how long it is kept, and how to get rid of it. Written to be read, not to be survived.
The short version. There are no analytics, no trackers and no advertising pixels on this site — not "anonymised" ones, none. Nothing here is sold or shared with anyone. The desktop app is separate and stronger still: your chats, files and models stay on your own machine, and in Local-Only mode nothing it does reaches the internet at all.
Your email address, which option you picked, and the time you sent it. It is stored on our own server and emailed to us so we see it. That is all the form collects.
Your message, the app version and platform, and — only if you type one — your email address. If you tick the box to include a diagnostic log, the tail of that log comes too; it is written by the app and may name files or models you were using, which is why it is a choice rather than automatic.
The chats, notes and tasks you create there, so they are waiting for you next time. Also a spending log — which surface spent, which model answered, when, and how much — because money that moves while you are not watching needs an explanation you can check. We keep the most recent 500 chats and 500 spending entries per account.
Your IP address is seen by the server on each request and used to rate-limit abuse. It is not part of any profile and is not used to identify you.
Only the services that make the site work: our own server, the mail provider that delivers sign-in codes, and Google if you choose Google to sign in. When you use the Koinos Network for AI, the text of that request goes to whichever volunteer machine answers it — that is what the network is, it is why the app tells you when a request is about to leave your computer, and it is why Local-Only mode exists.
Account data stays until you delete it. You can remove chats, notes and tasks individually in the web app, unlink a wallet at any time, and end a spending grant from either side. To delete an account and everything attached to it, or to have a waitlist entry or a piece of feedback removed, write to the address below and say so — you do not need to explain why.
If this notice changes in a way that affects what is collected, the change will appear in the release notes rather than being made quietly.
